Production Team Lead
Staff On Site currently seeking Production Team Leaders for temp to hire position at an established company in Beloit.
Qualified individuals will have high energy with a positive attitude and the desire to learn.
Shift times are Weekends 6:
00AM-6:
00PM or 6:
00PM-6:
00AMMUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1 ST OR 2 ND SHIFT M-F FOR FOUR TO SIX WEEKS.
Of utmost importance is maintaining a safe work environment for all associates to work within.
Th e Team Leader position is expected to lead by example and work with the associates to accomplish the goals and objectives as assigned by management.
The Leader will be involved in distributing the work, training new associates, setting up workstations and overseeing the quality of product and work being produced.
The Team Leader will be responsible for maintaining an organized workplace, consistent flow of product while meeting the demands of the department and production schedules.
The Position requires a wide range of skills & experience including but not limited to; quality control techniques, the use of fine measurement tools, safe material handling methods, inventory accuracy and control and work order processing.
Qualifications:
Mechanical abilities to improve machine operation or product flow.
Troubleshooting skills & experience needed to address process problems and/or product quality challenges.
Conflict resolution skill in the work environment.
Ability to work with and lead difficult people.
A high level of analytical & reasoning skills is required.
Complicated mathematical skills will be applied.
Highly organized.
Education &
Experience:
A 2-year technical degree, or equivalent experience.
Experience leading and directed 2-10 associates.
Experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse setting as needed for the specific team being led.
Ensur e depa rtment associates are following all safety policies.
Ens ure th e MOS system is used on the shop floor by department Associates.
Experience measuring with tape measure, caliper & micrometer.
Report disciplinary issues to department heads.
Physical Demand:
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Able to stand, walk, lift and reach for a full 8-hour day.
Must be physically able to operate all machines and process steps in department.
Some travel is required, at times up to a weeklong trip.
The physical demands can be fairly high at times.
Work Environment:
Noise is commonplace in the manufacturing environment, ear protection should be worn 100% of the time when in the manufacturing areas.
Safety glasses are to be worn 100% of the time when in the manufacturing areas.
Dirt, dust and grease will be present.
Machines have pinch points, fast moving parts and protruding parts, which present themselves as a potential injury.
We are now offering a $1,500 signing bonus.
