Summary:
As a kitchen steward, you will be responsible for assisting the executive chef with daily tasks and activities within the kitchen.
This position ensures that all daily tasks are completed and that the kitchen is prepared for the executive chef's orders.
This person will assist in maintaining a sanitary and orderly environment within the kitchen.
Qualifications:
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Must have prior experience working in a commercial kitchen.
Must have prior experience working with prep tools such as knives, cutting boards, and other kitchen utensils.
Must have a valid Food Handler's Card (within 30 days of hire) or ability to obtain one within 1 month of hire.
Must be able to follow instructions and understand basic written instructions.
Must be able to work with small teams.
Must be able to follow instructions from executive chef and leadership team.
Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
